Diving Medical Emergencies

Book this course now.....

Description

This CPD Session is designed for divers and prehospital responders, to provide an awareness of the range of medical emergencies that they may see when attending divers in the prehospital environment. It revisits the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, and goes on to explain the mechanism and management of each condition covered.

For Divers - This is a good session to give you awareness of the range of medical emergencies you may see while on a recreational dive, while a small amount of biology and physiology is required to qualify as a diver, this session should not be taxing to understand and is delivered in an easy to grasp format.

For Responders - This session will revise the respiratory system anatomy and physiology as well as equip you with the appropriate knowledge and understanding to identify, treat and manage diving related medical emergencies in a prehospital environment, up to the limits of your scope of practice.
